A Reason to Celebrate.

Have you ever come across a family which has touched your soul? I have and my life is richer for it. Meet Martina, Nate and Baby Nadia. Nadia has overcome some incredible obstacles in her very short life and to be asked to photograph her first birthday was such an honour. Nadia entered this world at 28 weeks gestation weighing in at a tiny 1kg, her parents Martina and Nate have battled circumstances no parent would ever wish to encounter yet they have done this with grace and strength beyond measure. Nadia's 1st  Birthday party, like her birth was a little unusual with the COVID-19 restrictions only allowing a small number of what I can only imagine would have been otherwise large occasion. However with the help of technology everyone who couldn't make it zoomed in to sing happy birthday and watch the cutting of the cake. Although many tears were shed it was one of the most joyous 1st birthdays I have ever attended. Congratulations to Martina and Nate for surviving the first year of parenthood and wishing you much love and happiness for many more to come.
