Let's Eat Cake
The wonderful thing about being a photographer is making connections and getting to capture the best parts and times in people's lives, what a job! Every time I am asked to capture a special event I am totally honoured that people trust me to capture the essence of their event and today I was asked to capture gorgeous Lily's first birthday, what a treat! Lily's mum & dad, Jess & Jared are previous wedding clients so today was like seeing old friends and catching up with them and their family, who were just as warm and friendly. It was such a pleasure to be part of this special day where cousins were plenty and grandpa was king of the kids. The highlight for me though was watching little Lily to enjoy her first taste of real sugar, cupcakes are surely the joy of life! Oh and what is a party without fairy bread?
