Little Christo’s beautiful held at St Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church in Wollongong was a special celebration filled with family, faith and tradition.

We began at home with relaxed family portraits of Christo with his family and godparents before heading to the St Nektarios Church, Wollongong for his christening ceremony. Orthodox christenings are always wonderful to photograph, with so many meaningful traditions, beautiful details and genuine family moments to capture throughout the service.

The celebrations continued at Harbourfront Seafood Restaurant in Wollongong, with the reception beautifully styled by Pretty and Propped by Cass and a gorgeous christening cake by Dolci e Formaggi.

As a Wollongong christening photographer, I love capturing the complete story of Greek Orthodox christenings, from natural family photography at home to the church ceremony and relaxed reception celebrations. Christo’s Wollongong christening was a beautiful milestone and a wonderful day for his family to remember.
