The way I capture newborn sessions is very much a documentary or journalistic approach, capturing everything that is going on in your life at home during this special time making sure I photograph from the best angles, perspectives and making the most of the available light. Rather than a studio session which involves more posing, use of props and artificial lighting these newborn session are always held in your home and I try my best to make everything very relaxed and casual. Sometimes bub is happy to nap other times they are wide awake. It is all about capturing the connection and love that you and your family already have for your new addition. Your bub is usually dressed or wrapped and is held in your arms or placed on a bed for some individual photos.
